Reverse description A mounted warrior advances to the right at a vigorous gallop, holding a long horizontal spear or lance in an outstretched arm, in the characteristic Iberian jinete (cavalryman) type. The horse is rendered in a lively, stylized manner with legs extended in full stride. Beneath the horse, an exergual line separates the main design from the Iberian legend below. The Celtiberian inscription identifying the mint of Bursau appears in the exergue in Iberian script characters.
