Reverse description Emperor Uroš Nemanjić depicted enthroned in full frontal view, nimbed, wearing imperial robes and holding a cross-tipped sceptre in his right hand. The figure is rendered in the Byzantine-influenced style typical of late medieval Serbian coinage, with the throne indicated by horizontal bars at either side. Cyrillic legends flanking the enthroned figure identify him as Tsar, disposed in the field to the left and right within a beaded inner border.
