| Obverse description | Central field dominated by the elaborate crowned royal cipher of Augustus III (Augustus III Rex), composed of interlaced Gothic initials 'AR' surmounted by a large arched royal crown with cross finial. The monogram is flanked on either side by decorative foliate scrollwork. The date 1763 is divided by the cipher, with '17' to the left and '63' to the right. The coin has no peripheral legend on this face, with the milled edge visible at the rim. |

| Reverse description | Central device features the arms of the city of Toruń: a fortified castle with multiple towers and a gate, rendered in fine detail. A winged angel figure (the city's traditional supporter) rises above the castle with wings spread. The castle is flanked by elaborate baroque scrollwork cartouches on either side. The circular Latin legend reads 'GROSSUS TRIPLEX THORUNENSIS' around the periphery, separated by a dot stop, within a beaded inner border. |
