Reverse description Central field displays three horizontal lines of inscription incorporating the date, with the Bathory family arms (three wolf's teeth) dividing the legend. In the upper portion, the Polish eagle is flanked by the value numeral III and the Lithuanian mounted knight (Pahonia). The abbreviation LIT appears in the lower field, flanked by two trefoil (clover) ornaments. The overall design follows the standard trojak format established for Lithuanian grand duchy coinage.
