Reverse description Within a square klippe flan, the crowned arms of Gdańsk (two crosses) appear in the central field, surrounded by a circular legend reading GROSSUS TRIPLEX GEDANENSIS with the value numeral III. An inner beaded or linear border separates the central device from the circumferential inscription. The overall composition reflects the characteristic style of mid-18th century Gdańsk municipal coinage struck under Augustus III.
