Reverse description Central device features the arms of the city of Elbing (Elbląg): a shield divided horizontally, the upper half bearing a Maltese cross on a plain field, and the lower half depicting a latticed or diamond-pattern field with a small cross at center, all supported by elaborate baroque scrollwork cartouche. The numeral '3' appears prominently above the shield. A circular Latin legend reads around the periphery with separating stops, and the mintmaster's initials 'F·L·S' appear in the lower field below the shield.
