Reverse description The field displays three heraldic shields arranged in a horizontal row: at left the Polish Eagle, at centre the Snopek (sheaf) arms of the Vasa dynasty surmounted by a royal crown, and at right the Lithuanian Pahonia (mounted knight). Below the shields, the date is split around the central escutcheon reading 15–III–96, with the denomination inscription in three lines: GROS·ARG / TRIP·M·D·L. At the bottom of the field appear the mint marks of the Wilno mint: the Pogon arrow symbol and a decorative floral ornament.
