Reverse description Central field displays the crowned coat of arms of Poland — the White Eagle — flanked by two heraldic supporters, with the numeral III above denoting the denomination. Below the central shield, the Olkusz mint mark shield bearing a lion rampant is shown, flanked by the mintmaster's initials I F and the last two digits of the year (95 for 1595). The remaining field is filled with a four-line Latin inscription reading GROS ARG / TRR POLO / NI, identifying the coin as a silver grosch of the Polish realm. The design is typical of the hammered trojak series produced at the Olkusz mint under Sigismund III Vasa.
