Reverse description The upper field displays three heraldic shields arranged side by side: the Polish eagle to the left, the Vasa dynastic arms (a sheaf) at center surmounted by a royal crown with the value numeral III above, and the Lithuanian Pahonia (mounted knight) to the right. Below these devices, the denomination and inscription appear in three bold horizontal lines across the field, with the date 1598 in the exergue. The overall design is characteristic of hammered silver trojaks produced at the Lublin mint under Sigismund III Vasa.
