Obverse description Draped and crowned bust of Sigismund III Vasa facing right, wearing a ruffled collar and royal crown, with a short beard and moustache rendered in fine relief. The portrait is executed in the late Renaissance style characteristic of the Bydgoszcz mint. The circular Latin legend runs along the coin's inner border, separated by dot stops, identifying the king by name, title, and dominion.
