| Obverse description | Bare male head facing left, rendered in an archaic Ibero-Greek style characteristic of the Ilergetes coinage. The portrait displays a broad, rounded face with schematically rendered hair swept back from the forehead, with individual locks indicated by incuse lines. The neck is truncated at the lower rim of the flan. The overall style reflects Hellenistic influence transmitted through the Emporitane coinage tradition. |
