Obverse description Chimaera walking to left, depicted as a winged creature with prominent, finely engraved feathered wings raised above its body; the animal's form is rendered in bold relief characteristic of Sikyonian coinage. A small mural crown is visible above the wing. The design fills the irregular flan with assured, competent die work typical of the late Hellenistic period.
