Obverse description Head of a young female deity, most likely Ennodia or a nymph associated with the city of Kierion, facing left, rendered in the fine Thessalian style of the mid-4th century BC. The hair is softly waved and gathered in loose curls framing the face, with delicate facial features including almond-shaped eyes and a gently parted mouth. The flan is irregular and slightly dumpy, characteristic of small hammered silver issues from this region and period. The portrait displays the graceful naturalism typical of Thessalian coinage of this era. No inscription appears on the obverse.
