| Obverse description | Forepart of a boar charging to the left, its powerful musculature rendered in fine archaic relief; a dotted border runs along the boar's flank, and to the right stands a tunny fish upright, serving as the civic badge of Kyzikos. The flan is irregular and the fabric characteristic of early Archaic electrum-tradition silver coinage from the Propontis region. No legend is present; the design is purely emblematic. |

| Reverse description | Within a shallow incuse square, the forepart of a roaring lion facing left, rendered in bold high relief with a dramatically striated mane fanning outward in fine parallel lines. The open jaws and wrinkled muzzle are rendered with vigorous archaic naturalism. A vertical dotted line to the right of the head divides the incuse field. No inscription is present; the design is purely pictorial and consistent with the Archaic coinage of Kyzikos. |
