Obverse description Head of Artemis in right profile, depicted with elaborately rendered hair swept back and bound, with fine strands rendered in relief across the crown and nape. The facial features are finely modelled in the archaic-to-early classical Greek style, with a delicate nose, pursed lips, and a well-defined jaw. The neck is bare, and the bust is truncated at the lower edge of the flan. The field is plain, with no surrounding legend.
