Obverse description Helmeted head of Athena facing right, rendered in archaic Italiote style with visible crested helmet. Four pellets arranged in two groups flank the effigy on either side of the field, serving as the value mark for the triens denomination (four unciae). The surfaces exhibit heavy green patination consistent with prolonged burial, with the relief partially worn but the overall composition still legible.

Reverse description Cochlear anchor or figure, possibly representing a deity or cult figure, depicted in a striding or standing pose with arms extended, facing left. Partial legend visible to the left of the figure. Four pellets appear in the lower right field as the denomination mark. The style is characteristic of the Romano-Campanian bronze coinage produced at Paestum during the Second Punic War period, with the entire reverse covered in a thick green patina.
