Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Trajan facing right, rendered in high relief with finely detailed hair and paludamentum fastened at the shoulder. The imperial effigy occupies the central field, conveying the authoritative portrait style characteristic of Trajanic provincial coinage. The surrounding Greek legend, disposed in two registers around the periphery, reads ΑΥΤΟΚΡ ΚΑΙϹ ΝΕΡ ΤΡΑΙΑΝΟϹ ϹΕΒ ΓΕΡΜ ΔΑΚ, proclaiming Trajan's titles as Imperator, Caesar, Nerva, Augustus, Germanicus, and Dacicus. The flan is broad but irregular, typical of hammered provincial silver of this period, with a beaded border partially visible.
