Obverse description Bare head of a local nymph facing right, her hair swept back and secured with a taenia (hair-band), with loose locks falling at the nape of the neck; a necklace is visible at the base of the bust. The portrait is rendered in a fine Sicilian Greek style within a beaded border, with the field plain and uninscribed.
