| Obverse description | Facing bust of King Wittiza in the central field, depicted in a highly stylized, schematic manner characteristic of late Visigothic coinage, wearing a crown with a central pellet finial and a draped or jewelled collar visible at the base of the neck. The bust is rendered with large, prominent facial features in low relief. A circular legend in Latin capitals surrounds the effigy, enclosed within a beaded border. |
