Obverse description Schematic front-facing royal bust of King Suintila depicted in low relief at center, rendered in the highly stylized Visigothic manner with a beaded or filigree-style collar and a cross or scepter visible below the chin. The surrounding field is densely populated with large six-pointed stars and pellets arranged in a decorative pattern characteristic of the Acci mint. The legend + SVINTILA runs around the periphery in debased Latin letterforms. The overall die work reflects the late antique artistic tradition as transmitted through Visigothic coinage, with bold if schematic modeling of facial features.

Reverse description Schematic front-facing bust, closely mirroring the obverse type, rendered in the same stylized Visigothic idiom with beaded drapery elements and a cross below the chin. The surrounding field is filled with large six-pointed stars and pellet ornaments, consistent with the distinctive decorative vocabulary of the Acci mint. The peripheral legend + PIVS HAC identifies the mint as Acci and alludes to the pious epithet of the king. The flat, hammered flan and irregular planchet are characteristic of Visigothic tremisses of this period.
