The schematic effigy displays characteristic flat, almost abstract facial treatment typical of late Visigothic coinage. The Latin legend naming the mint of Acci (modern Guadix, in the province of Granada) is distributed around the central bust in the field, the whole enclosed by a beaded outer border. |
