| Reverse description | Facing bust of a Victory or angel figure, rendered in a schematic, highly stylized pseudo-Byzantine fashion, depicted frontally with a rounded head, short neck, and spread wings indicated by broad flanking strokes forming a characteristic Visigothic winged bust type. The central figure is surrounded by the mint and epithet legend in degraded Latin characters arranged circularly in the field. A beaded border encloses the design. The style reflects the provincial adaptation of late Roman and Byzantine iconographic conventions characteristic of the Olisipona (Lisbon) mint under Recaredo I. |
