| Reverse description | A tall cross potent on steps occupies the centre of the reverse field, rendered in a bold, linear style characteristic of Lombard Beneventan coinage. To the right of the cross shaft appears the monogram of Duke Liutprand. The legend, distributed around the beaded border, incorporates the mint mark CONOB in the lower portion of the field, referencing Constantinople as the monetary standard. The overall design closely imitates contemporary Byzantine tremissis types while incorporating local Lombard iconographic elements. |
