Reverse description The reverse presents a multi-line nastaliq inscription arranged within a central rectangular cartouche, framed by a double ruled border with decorative corner elements. The legend opens with the pious formula 'Al-Mulk Lillah' (sovereignty belongs to God), followed by the mint name 'Dar al-Mu'minin Kashan' and the AH date 1213. Elaborate floral arabesques and vegetal scrollwork fill the field outside the cartouche, while a continuous beaded border encircles the entire design. The AH date 1213 appears prominently at the base of the cartouche in clear numerical form. The calligraphic quality and decorative programme are consistent with royal Qajar hammered gold coinage of the period.
