| Reverse description | The reverse field displays a multi-line Persian nastaliq legend in high relief, reading 'ضرب دارالسلطنه تبریز ۱۲۳۲' (Struck at the Seat of the Sultanate, Tabriz, 1232 AH), arranged in sweeping diagonal strokes across the field. The mint name 'تبریز' (Tabriz) and the Hijri date '۱۲۳۲' are clearly legible within the composition, which is embellished with small floral rosette ornaments dispersed between the calligraphic strokes. The design is enclosed within a raised dotted inner border, mirroring the obverse, and surrounded by an outer granulated or rope-twist rim border consistent with Qajar hammered coinage of this period. |
