| Obverse description | Plain aluminium field bearing a continuous circular legend reading ONE SHILLING repeated twice around the central cross-shaped cutout, separated by raised dot stops. The token has no central device other than the distinctive cross-form perforation, which served as an anti-counterfeiting feature and identification mechanism for theatre pass use. |
