Obverse description The Town of Edson heraldic crest occupies the central field, rendered as a quartered shield bearing local emblems: mountains and a bear in the upper quarters, a fish in the middle band, and a log with an arrow and plank in the lower quarter. A ribbon scroll beneath the shield bears the motto PEOPLE and RESOURCES. The Centennial dates 1867 and 1967 flank the shield at left and right respectively, while the legend SOUVENIR arcs along the upper periphery and CENTENNIAL DOLLAR arcs along the lower periphery.
