Reverse description A trophy of arms in the central field, depicting a plumed helmet, shield, flags, cannon, and other military equipment arranged in a decorative composition. The device is encircled by an ouroboros (serpent biting its own tail), with a Latin legend and the date 1684 around the outer border, the date interrupted at top by a small face or mask serving as a mintmark for Brussels.
