Obverse description The brass centre features the crowned coat of arms of the Municipality of Borger in relief, depicting a quartered shield with a jug and an inescutcheon bearing a bearded face. The legend 'GEMEENTE BORGER' arcs along the lower portion of the copper-nickel ring, flanked by two mintmarks — a bow and arrow (privy mark) and a caduceus (mintmaster mark).
