Obverse description The obverse presents a detailed high-relief rendition of the Aztec Sun Stone (calendar), with the central solar deity face surrounded by concentric rings of calendrical glyphs and geometric motifs. Enamel coloring is applied in red to the central sunburst rays and inner rings, with green accents highlighting figural devices in the outer border ring. The overall design faithfully reproduces the principal elements of the original monolith.
