| Obverse description | Central device consists of a circle divided horizontally by a flat band, with the upper and lower halves filled with crosshatch (waffle) pattern in relief, forming a stylized mug or waffle iron design. The countermarked initials 'W T' appear in the central band in incuse punch. A semicircular legend reading 'ALOYSE ANEN FILS LUXEMBOURG' curves along the lower portion of the field. |
