Reverse description Bimetallic token with a brass centre featuring a standing robed monk holding a staff, representing the heraldic device of Monnickendam, flanked by the large numeral 2 to the left and the denomination TROET to the right, with a barrel device visible at right and small ship device at left. The copper-nickel ring bears the legend 650 JAAR STADSRECHTEN at the top and 1355 MONNICKENDAM 2005 at the bottom, with a mintmaster mark visible in the lower centre field.
