The St. Mauritius Church is located right behind Bilzen`s town hall. It is one of the rare hall churches in the region. The interior has been beautifully restored in neo-Gothic style and tradition. The entire interior concept was rethought: the beautiful late Gothic sculptures were integrated into Baroque elements. Remarkable and striking is the rich neo-Gothic color of stained glass windows and modern paintwork.
