On the top of the coin along the circumference, the lifespan of William Penn is engraved (October 14, 1644 - July 30, 1718). William Penn`s name is engraved on the bottom of the coin along the circumference. There are 3 stars on either side of the coin (a total of 6), also along the circumference of the coin. In the center of the coin there is a picture of Independence Hall (almost a birds eye perspective) with William Penn on top, with the present day American Flag behind

A picture of the Constitution of the United States as well as the Liberty Bell is on the middle of the coin. The lettering, `LIBERTY BELL` and `THE CONSTITUTION` are engraved along the circumference of the coin. There are also 4 stars on either side of the coin (for a total of 8 stars) along the circumference of the coin.
