Three crowns: the civic one, in oak foliage, the mural one, and, let`s suppose, the vallary one. The first one dominates the two others, which are arranged in a row. To these three crowns are married a palm and a laurel branch, crossed in saltire. In the exergue: 1608. The monogram of Nicolas Briot`s initials is missing.

The shield of France and that of Navarre, joined together, surmounted by the royal crown of France and surrounded by the two collars of the Orders of the King, which are those of Saint Michael and the Holy Spirit. At the point resulting from the conjunction of the two shields, a monogram, formed of two H entwined, crowned and decorated with laurel.
