Reverse descriptionVarious objects representative of this battle: 2 ladders, as the Savoyards tried to scale Geneva`s walls with ladders; 2 swords and 2 halberds to represent the weapons used at the time; an explosive charge (called a pétard), as the Savoyards tried to blow up the city gate; a cooking pot, as a Geneva resident saw an enemy passing under her window and threw her soup pot at him, killing him instantly. The battle took place on the night of December 11-12, 1602.
