Reverse description
The outer rim contains the text `ATENEO DE MANILA UNIVERSITY SESQUICENTENNIAL`. The center has two circular heraldic symbols. The upper symbol has inscriptions that read `LUX IN DOMINO` in the upper rim, and `ATENEO` in the lower rim with `JHS` in the inner part. The lower heraldic symbol has `1859 jhs 2009` in its upper rim, and `THE ATENEO WAY` in the lower rim. `150` is in the inner part of the heraldic symbol. The rest of the medals center is adorned by filigree type of etchings that surround the two heraldic symbols.
