Reverse description A displayed eagle with wings spread stands upon a sword, facing left, rendered in high relief at the centre of the field. To the left appear the engraver's initials R.C. and the silver fineness mark ARGENT 950; to the right are the dates 1939 and 1945, the warranty mark P.C-V, and the Monnaie de Paris cornucopia hallmark. A bilingual legend curves around the upper periphery, and the issuer's name BANCO ITALO-VENEZOLANO with VENEZUELA 1957 is inscribed along the lower border. The design is bounded by a beaded rim.
