Obverse description Bust of Sultan Abdul Medjid Khan, Emperor of the Ottomans, facing slightly to the left, wearing a plumed turban and decorated military dress, within a beaded inner border. The wide outer border contains eight ornate cartouches bearing the names of Allied commanders and statesmen, interspersed with military trophies and emblems in high relief.
