Reverse description Central device depicts the Prussian black eagle with wings displayed and a notably large, boldly modelled head turned to the right, surmounted by a royal crown. The eagle holds a sceptre in its right talon and an orb in its left, with a decorative chain of the Order of the Black Eagle across its breast and an ornamental flourish below. The surrounding legend, arranged along the beaded rim, reads VI EINEN THALER to the left and CLXXX EIN PF. F. to the right, with the date 1862 appearing in the lower exergual area.
