Obverse description Armored and draped bust of Prince William of Anhalt-Harzgerode facing right, wearing a voluminous long-haired allonge wig with tightly massed curls rendered in a somewhat crude, provincial style. The effigy is shown in high relief with armored pauldron visible at the shoulder and lace cravat at the throat. The circular Latin legend runs along the periphery, separated by stops, with a beaded inner border encircling the field.

Reverse description Quartered or manifold dynastic shield of Anhalt arms, surmounted by a princely crown and flanked by ornamental mantling or supporters, with the fractional denomination '2/3' displayed in an oval cartouche at the base of the shield. The date is split to either side of the shield, and the mintmaster's initials (A·F) appear flanking the date, all within a circular Latin legend separated by stops.
