Obverse description Armoured right-facing bust of Emperor Rudolf II, laureate and crowned, bearing a sceptre in his right hand and a sword in his left. The effigy is rendered in plain armour without elaborate decoration. A beaded inner circle frames the portrait, with the full Latin legend arranged in a continuous circular band around the periphery of the field.
