Obverse description Two rampant lions, facing inward, serve as heraldic supporters flanking the crowned Imperial coat of arms at center. Below the central shield, two mirrored escutcheons bearing the arms of Zürich (diagonally divided, blue and white) are placed symmetrically. The letter 'E' appears in the upper left corner of the elaborately patterned field. The date 1559 is incorporated within the surrounding legend.
