| Obverse description | Saint George on horseback riding to the right, slaying a dragon beneath the horse's hooves. The saint is depicted in full armour, lance in hand, with the dragon coiled below. The fractional denomination 1/6 appears in the exergue below the horse. The circular legend surrounds the design, reading IOHAN·GEORG·COM·IN·MANSELT·NO5 (or similar), referencing Count Johann Georg of Mansfeld. The overall style is characteristic of late 17th-century German milled coinage. |
