Reverse description The quartered and impaled armorial shield of the House of Anhalt, displaying the multiple territorial quarterings including the bear of Anhalt, the Saxon barry with a rampant bear, the checkered Ascanian arms, and diagonal stripes, all surmounted by a princely crown. Mint master initials FC appear to the left of the shield, and the denomination indicator V (for two-thirds) to the right. The fractional denomination 2/3 appears at the base of the shield. The surrounding Latin legend reads MONETA·NOVA·ARGENTEA·1675·, with the date also visible to the left of the shield, and a toothed border frames the entire design.
