Obverse description Armored bust of John George II, Elector of Saxony, facing right, wearing a cuirass with elaborate shoulder armor and a flowing cravat, his long curly wig rendered in fine baroque style. The portrait is bold and high-relief, occupying the center of the field. A Latin legend encircles the bust along the periphery, reading IOHANN GEORG II D G DVX SAX IVL CL MONT ANG ET WESTF, separated by small rosette stops. The coin's edge is finely milled.
