Reverse description Full-length armored figure of St. George standing in three-quarter view, clad in detailed plate armor and a plumed helmet, holding a lance in his right hand and a banner in his left, trampling upon a vanquished dragon prostrate beneath his feet. To the left stands a shield bearing the Friedberg castle motif, and to the right a shield with a diagonal bend, representing the arms of the burgraviate. The encircling Latin legend reads MONETA CASTRI IMP · FRIDBERG., identifying this as the coinage of the Imperial Castle of Friedberg. The coin exhibits a bold milled border.
