Reverse description Full-length standing figure of Saint Andrew, nimbed, draped in classical robes and bearing the large saltire cross (X-shaped) behind him, with the initials S.R. flanking his head. A circular Latin legend surrounds the figure reading BR. & LUN. DUX. LA. TH. & ELECT., referencing the ruler's title as Duke of Brunswick and Lüneburg and Elector. The mint mark or privy letters appear in the exergue below the figure's feet. The composition is typical of the Ausbeutetaler tradition, struck from silver produced at the Hanoverian mines.
