Obverse description Central field displays a quartered royal shield of arms surmounted by an arched crown, bearing the heraldic devices of England (three passant guardant lions), Scotland (rampant lion within tressure), France (three fleurs-de-lis), Ireland (harp), and Hanover (white horse), the date divided across the upper field flanking the crown. The circular legend runs along the periphery, with the denomination '2/3' inscribed in an oval cartouche at the base of the shield, flanked by the fineness inscription 'FEIN SILB:' in the lower field. The entire design is contained within a beaded border.
