Obverse description Bare-headed, draped bust of Frederick V facing right, with naturalistically rendered curled hair and a ribbon bow at the nape of the neck. The portrait is executed in a refined Baroque style with pronounced relief. The mintmaster's initial 'B' appears below the bust truncation. The surrounding legend reads FRIDERICVS V D G REX D N V G D S H S D C O D, running clockwise from lower left to lower right along the coin's periphery.
